Private Training

Private Training/Personal Training provides the opportunity to work on specific, individual and personal needs. Unlike an open yoga class or in a group, the work is more intense. Being concentrated and mindful allows for opening up in a deeper way, which helps us understand our own body and mind and its needs more profoundly.

Especially for individual needs that cannot be addressed in groups, private training provides the space to work with these special needs and develop strategies that are beneficial and practical.

Not only does an individual and customized yoga practice bring physical benefits, but it also helps the student take responsibility and grow within their situation given.

The focus of private training can target physical, mental or emotional issues. Building an individual yoga practice as well as learning relaxation or meditation techniques may also be the goal.

Group Training

A universally known problem: the alarm goes off (too) early, maybe you slept poorly and there is no time for the gym, sports, or relaxation. On top of everything else in our demanding lives, there are endless meetings, deadline pressures and a mind full of assignments, jobs, problems, and projects, all of which must be solved at once. No time for the gym and anyway, who likes to be outside in bad weather – besides having no time to spare… How can we stay calm or relaxed?

This is where I come to your rescue: you can strengthen your back AND your boost creativity and motivation! How? With great yoga exercises for short, healthy and reviving breaks from your otherwise stressful life.

I’m happy to visit you – even in your office – and work with you, your co-workers or with a group of your friends. I can especially design the exercises to be comfortably done in the workplace. The possibilities are endless: in everyday clothes or sportswear, on the yoga mat or on a chair in the conference room.

FAQ

I can only touch my knees with my hands. How can I do Yoga?

If your job does not involve physical labour, it is only normal to feel tense and stiff. Don’t worry if touching your toes seems to be impossible. With a regular yoga practice, your flexibility will improve noticeably.

I’m already working out at a gym, I don’t need an additional yoga practice

A lot of sports and trainings do offer a very good workout. But Yoga has a proven therapeutic effect: It helps healing injuries, mitigates chronic conditions and balances mental stress.

I did Yoga once, but it was much too slow and boring

Granted, in the beginning it may feel odd to hang out cross-legged with closed eyes. And yes, it can be annoying that the most difficult exercise is the first one: sitting in silence, and then again at the end of the session. But the amazing thing about it is that you will immediately feel the difference. And between beginning and end there is an amazing workout.

I don’t have time

The reward you get will be well worth the time invested, and then some. As soon as you feel your hips opening up, magical time slots will also open up in your day planner.

I’m afraid that Yoga is connected to a religion

Yoga is not a religion. Yoga is a technique, a physical movement that helps improve one’s health. Yoga supports and strengthens the connectedness with the body.

Yoga is for teetotalers, but I like to have drinks with my friends

Of course, you can have a few glasses of beer or wine or even cocktails and still be a Yogi:ni. It may also happen that after some time you evolve to a healthier way of life. But you don’t have to change your present habits.

Why is everyone doing yoga these days?

The “WOW” effect in Yoga:

Actually, you start taking yoga classes to become more flexible. But then you are surprised that your sleep has become deeper and more restful. Or you notice that you are able to concentrate on the job. As soon as you start a regular yoga practice, you will find many positive changes in your life:

  • a happier attitude towards life
  • less back pain
  • increased ability to concentrate
  • better sleep
  • more physical flexibility
  • loss of weight
  • mental balance
  • tranquility

Many students leave the yoga class with a smile. My longstanding experience confirms that Yoga thrills the most different people. You can be a runner or a dancer or you may have just started doing sports: everyone finds their start in Yoga. In general, any yoga class I teach is suitable for everyone.
